Great Morning and Day to All!

Take a nap for once and maybe just lay around (if I'm so lucky:)
Much Love, Hugs, Peace & Comfort :)

What will I do to nurture myself today?

I will not worry about being perfect.  I will do my best and know that I have done my best and that's all I can do.  I'm going to come home after work (don't have to pick up my niece and nephew from school or work my second job today) and take off my shoes and get in comfy clothes and wrap myself in my blankie and veg on my couch.

I will take a nice long shower and put lotion all over myself. Maybe even some oil. My skin is so dry this time of year. And often I let that go, especially my feet. They are so calloused. Always are, I get callouses easy. So that is my plan for the day.

Great topic Kitt

Hugs, Karen
I might even paint my nails. LOL...

I'm going to try taking things as they come, and not confuse "nurturing" with "getting things accomplished."

I am going to kick the anxiety and worries to the curb and keep telling myself I am a good person.  I am going to accept myself and quit beating myself up.

Luv you guys,

Kitt

This is a perfect reminder for me today kitt, thank you.  My husband has a torn tendon in his upper leg and has not been getting around very well, I've had to pick up all of his slack including shoveling all of this snow we've been getting and keeping up on all the usual that I do around here which is pretty much everything, since he works.  We are also dealing with his dad's first chemo and of course just all the holiday stuff.  I'm spread thin, overwhelmed and exhausted.

Thanks to your question I'm going to stop the craziness today and just have a quiet me day.  I'm going to start with a hot bath, then a nice lunch and then I think I will spend the day baking, which I love to do and never have enough time for.  I'm going to let go of the rest of the decorating of the house for Christmas and just be happy with the way it is. And I'm not answering the phone either!  Thank you kitt, I honestly really needed this push today!

Well, it is now 7:12 PM CST here at Green Grove Farm and I have to say I did not nap or rest much today :)

Ran around picking up stuff, run the sweeper, mopped floors, did dishes, cooked supper, fed the peafowl some new food, fed the rest of the zoo :) etc.

But, you know what. . . I actually feel more relaxed now that my house is clean, so I think I will go listen to a relaxation CD :)

Luv you all and hope you are having a satisfying and luxurious day !
Much Love, Hugs, Peace & Comfort :)
Your bro,

Sam
