Hi, I have not really posted for a while but have been on here reading posts.
I have recently got over a really bad bout of panic and anxiety which totally freaked me out!! Having been living with panic and anxiety for years but this was a real scary episode.....really thought i was losing it. On the plus side i have been feeling alot better for weeks now and am now seeing a CBT therapist which is encouraging. I also have diazepam for when i feel reallyanxious and that does seem to help.  My concern at the mo is i can be kinda OK for days just the usual health anxiety stuff etc and feel positive about feeling better but then i seem to get these strange moods that can last a few days where i dont worry so much about HA just more random thoughts and i can get quite irritable and i suppose spacey, its hard to explain but i just dont feel right somehow? I also feel off balanced on my feet every now and then and a bit easier to get pins and needles.     oooops im scaring myself already with all these symptoms  lol!
Im pretty sure its the anxiety even though sometimes i dont think im worrying, just wondered if this sounds familiar to any one. Be really good to hear your thoughts and how anxiety affects you.
Thanks for reading x :-)

Oh yeh I'll be fine for days or up to a week and bam all the sudden things change and I feel like a different person.  That is when the CBT therapy kicks in harder and we have to try to talk ourselves out of what is happening.  Sometimes I don't even know what sets off the anxiety but through journaling and such I can usually figure it out and face it head on.  I too have health anxiety and am constantly having to remind myself that "my heart is fine, nothing wrong, just the physical symptom of my anxiety disorder".  I hope things get better for you.  We are here for you.

Hi Jazzy29,
I agree with all who have posed so far. Sometimes I feel like I am watching myself living my life. I hope that makes sense. I also get confused when I am depressed.
Take care and God bless

Thanks guys, i will read even more, its just nice to get a personal response as you guys are so caring and helpful on here.
Yes Diane i dont know wat really sets me off i just feel different and i suppose the anxiety builds slowly without me realising?! My CBT therapist suggested that i write my anxious self a letter from my non anxious self, so taht i can read it when i am anxious to bring more rational thoughts back iin my head. I think i will do that in the morning.

Thanks again x

Nikki, and all That is why i love this forum!! meeting guys like you and how reassuring when others feel the same!! I have come out of my mood a bit more, felt fine all day but drifted into one early this eve....i think i know why though as have an appt with nurse in morn for the horrble down below check that us ladies have to endure!! And this is one of my health anxieties!! I have a real issue that there is something wrong with me down there and that when they look they will be horrified and have to call for the doc!! (i have had it checked out loads of times and this has not happened yet,,warpy thoughts spring to But i will give myself a pat on the back as it has taken me 6 months to pluck up the courage to even make an appt!
Hopefully i will follow through with it. I hope you guys dont think im weird with that particular sure you dont but have never mentioned it on here before! so thats another 1st for me.
