Hi everybody- i hope this finds you all happy and healthy. so often we are sick and miserable that we miss out on the little things in life, so todays question is:

'How do i spoil myself?'

for me, i went and got a proper manicure last week and it was such a nice treat, as they massaged my hands, i was in heaven, very relaxed indeed. now your turn!

Take myself out to eat when I need a lift in my spirits. The change in environment - my favorite restaurants are not in the town where I live - helps me to shake loose a change in thinking sometimes.

Good Day Maz and Everyone!!!

I feel like I spoil myself everytime I sit back and relax. Took me years to learn to do this because I always felt like I was slacking if not working, lol :) Just a bit of an overachiever I think :)

I like going out to eat at a favorite place too, or maybe buy myself a little something. :)

me too! dinner at a cosy cafe or restaurant always works, and the artist in me loves searching through flea markets and vintage/antique stores for really unique jewellery

if someone actually proposes to me on day *not going to happen* i would be horrified if i was presented with a plain band with a whopping solitaire diamond. i want to design my own. guess i better find a man first.

I always get my nails done every two weeks and a pedicure every month. This is something I do just for "me"!

Hi,
I'm new here and couldn't help but notice all the medications some of you are on. I was on numerous medications for almost 30 years.
Wasn't until I changed doctors several times. Then was recommend to go off all but one prn med before I really got back on my feet. Now I am back to work, have gotten back in shape as well as emotionally healthy. Almost as if I have renewed my life. Anyone here ever try this?

Making sure I have everything caught up at home and then I indulge in taking off my shoes and putting my feet up and watching a favorite TV show.  I don't have a lot of free time, so this is a luxury for me.  Also, if I do get enough free time (say maybe an hour) I pick up a book and read (I started a book mid November and FINALLY finished it yesterday evening).  What a wonderful feeling that was.

Good Question Maz,

I usually find money somewhere and take a trip...................or keep telling myself I am OK, I am a good person.

Tough morning. Weaning off Cymbalta is tough but I will do this.

Happy Days to all

My son gives the best neck and shoulder massage so when he is around I sit down on floor and let his magic fingers do the job.  And it is free. cool

I love to read, so that is something I do just for me, curl up with a really good book and a cup of cocoa or hot tea and just relax and get away.  I also love to go out to eat, so husband and I do that just about every weekend...wonderful not to have to cook or clean up!
