Morning Family, was wondering what to have as today's question, and i came up with this:

"Do you have a belief system or a certain faith that assists you in your difficult times?"

*I know that forum rules dictate that we are not to discuss or argue over religious beliefs, or to try and get people to conform to your beliefs, and that is not the question i am asking. This is not an opportunity to fight over beliefs etc. This question is about YOU personally and what helps YOU.

For me, I believe in God and i believe that He has a plan for my life, even though i cant always see it or agree with it, but my faith keeps me strong, and my small, rural church family have supported me soooo much through all the years.

I guess I believe what you put out in life you get back.. so if I am sad or cranky, That is generally what I will attract back to me...Even if I have to fake a smile I do try. If I remember this rule Im sure in the end everything will be fine. gillxx

i definitely believe in God. i also believe that there is a greater plan for my life that i don't understand at all, but i try to remember that it's there and i just have to hang on and have faith.

i also believe that this question combined with garen's post is a sign that i need to get off my duff and get myself back to church tomorrow morning!
love and hugs

I believe in God and in miracles. I've seen to many wonderous things happen during my life to have a doubt. When my a/p tossed me into the black hole and I prayed for a cure from this disorder, no "magic wand" was waved over me with a quick fix. I was instead given the tools to help me help myself fix my own problems. . . IMHO, God will only help those that are willing to help themselves.

We seem to have the same belief...I also believe in God and Karma..But I dont think God believes in Karma so I guess budda? Except I like to think we come back too, to learn the lessons we didn't learn the first or second or even third time around. I do hope I havnt offended anyone with that comment. Faith i guess...Thats what it is all about. Faith in anything, something! Gillxx

I belive in God and I belive in Karma. So therefore I try to be as goooooood as I can!!!!
Good question Maz!
I think our beliefs about the afterlife (also) often are big issues with ppl as I have seen tonight.
I think its important to have something to belive in to get through it all!
"It all", meaning LIFE!!!
