Kitt (lady biker huh-cool), my therapist had me do this as well. I really struggled with the positivity of the phrase "I am". I could say the words but it took a long time to truly believe them. I am versus I believe didn't seem much different to me until I started this and then it all made sense after a while. Let's see, what first comes to mind is "I am woman, hear me roar". Seriously:
I am compassionate.
I am . . . . completely blank as to what to put in here for some reason.
I am sweet.
I am tender.
I am giving.
I am loving and loved.
I am a great daughter/sister/aunt/sister-in-law.
I am hard-working.
Well, that was tougher than I thought it would be when I started. Harder to think about ME than I thought. Great thread Kitt.
