The nurse called today from my gyn doctor's office and my follow-up pap test came back normal!  I am so relieved.  I still have to go back for another in 3 months because they want to see 2 normal results in a row before I go back to annual check-ups as usual.

I thank all of you again for your prayers and support that Monday when I went for the test.  It was a nerve-wracking day at work as you may remember and you got me through it.  Your prayers and support have meant so much.

I hope I will be able to post more but I am still having problems with my home computer and it is having its good days and bad days.  We are also under some sort of review at work right now and there's a lot of paranoia with that, so I am careful not to post during work hours at the moment... lots of focus on staying on task and fun stuff like that.

Thanks again for your friendship... I'm learning more and more that it's the small victories in life that count and this felt like one, something I could not control that came out okay.  The battle against my anticipatory anxiety the last 3 months over this has been rough but now I can move forward.

Hugs and peace to you all,

Thanks for the encouragement... I am indeed trying to remember how good it feels to have this news, to know that something turned out well, so that I don't panic every time something happens to me. It's all about small steps, learning to take a day at a time.

Thanks Kitt, and everyone, for your encouragement. (-:

I am going to find something special to do this weekend to take my mind off things for a while.
