Sam mentioned that members are interested in having some chat times.  Remember we have a A & P Chat room but we can do a calendar if people are interested.

We do have to keep in mind the time changes from country to country as well as east to west coast.

If you click on the word calendar in the dark blue above you will see who has scheduled chats now.

Depression has one on Tuesdays for a 4 hour slot.

Opinions please. idea

Sam has agreed to lead the chat with help from others.

Thanks
Kitt

I think it is a great idea but as you said there are time zones problems and all...But still sounds like a top idea!

I would really like to have a chat on Anxiety or Depression. I didn't know there
was currently one on Depression. I live on the West (Left) Coast. I don't know
if anyone else lives here or not.

Hey All,

I need some input so please post your requests or suggestions now.  I won't get to set this up until the week end but I will help get it set up if Sam is interested in taking it on or other mods that would like to help him..............

Let me hear from you. The chat room is separate and won't show here.

thanks

Kitt

I have found that thru the yrs finding ONE subject or issue we are dealing with or even 2 is plenty to handle during chats

Hello All,

I joined the forum a few months back, but haven't had much time to participate due to work/school obligations. However, my anxiety has really been flaring up lately, so for the past week or so, I have been coming here daily to read everyone's posts and responses. I think having a regularly scheduled chat is a wonderful idea. I know many of the members, including myself, would benefit from it tremendously. When any of us is having an anxious day, how wondeful it would be to talk directly to other members in real time! Great idea and a thumbs up vote from me!

I agree with Kitt :)

We need more input from members please :)  This thing won't fly unless everyone gets involved and let's us know about times and how they feel on this. . . I will take on the responsiblity of this so we all can chat and have a little fun, but would welcome other mods to host as well and at least come on to just shoot the breeze :)  I'm afraid that Kitt will be setting things up because she is familiar with all of this and I want to show proper respect when she is taking some more time out of her already booked schedule :)  Thank you to the members that already took the time to discuss this :)

Thanks!
Your Bro Sam :)

Hi everyone,

I think this is a great idea and I sure hope it works out.  Personally, I feel it's much more personable (and helpful) for me to chat with others, as opposed to posting on the boards.  Don't get me wrong, I am so thankful and grateful that I can post and read, it's been a lifesaver for me!

Hugs,

Karen
