Mondays are usually not the best - but today is worse than most.  I feel like I can't stand being at work today - I just want to go back home and go to sleep so my mind shuts down. I am feeling a lot of anxiety today but I can't put my finger on the reason - just in general I guess. Does anybody else find that Mondays are generally high anxiety days? Doesn't help that I forgot to take my meds this morning before I left for work cuz I was running a little behind. My bed, the TV and a blanket would be great right now. I am having a heck of a time concentrating on anything other than my anxiety. It's like I have anxiety about my anxiety - know what I mean??

Oh boy, you describe just how I'm feeling today.  And I feel this way most mornings.  I just want to go to sleep.  No anxiety though, just sluggishness and not wanting to be here at work.

I agree and sometime the rest of the week stinks too.

Austin, can you go home on your lunch hour and get the meds? Not good to skip them. I sure hope you feel better! Being at work does cause more anxiety for me. I have to learn that it's not the workplace that's causing the anxious feelings. It's me and my thoughts. Hang in there!

I know that's right. . . Woke up and have sheet metal blowing everywhere in the wind, muddy chores, and can't even burn the woodstove. . . We have members on here that are hurting and needing so much support right now. . . I am at a loss and this dreary Monday is not helping at all. . .

But we are family and if we show the proper respect and compassion to each other it will all be so much better :)

I was able to run home and take the meds over lunch.  I only live a few miles from work. I think I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed today cuz I am still crabby and stressed out and bed sounds better than anything.  My husband found out today that his company might be laying off in the next couple of weeks - he's at the bottom of the totem pole so.....  Like I said, Mondays stink.  Does anybody else take buspar or other medications that sometimes seem to make your face warm and flushed? It is happening to me this afternoon.  Maybe it's just anxiety doing it.

It sounds like you are going through a lot of stress right now, so no wonder your anxiety is up. I don't get flushed from the meds but my anxiety sure does this to me. I drink a lot of ice cold water that seems to help, and I put the bottle on my face and neck to cool off a bit :)

I hope this helps and I hope you get to feeling better :)
