Maybe it would be a good thing to be anxious at your appt. You'd be with the best person to deal with it. He/She could point out that everything you're feeling is not harmful to your body.
I get nervous before therapy appts. I haven't gone in years because the last one said there wasn't anything else he could do for me. I knew the techniques. I've read the books. I've taken the classes. But sometimes it would be nice to have someone to talk to about anything.
Anyway, this is not about me. You will do well. Stay in the moment and remember only positive self talk! Don't allow any negativity to enter your head. Good luck today!
Thank you guys for all your support, it did help a lot! Well I went and it wasn't nearly as horrible as i was imagining it to be. It actually went really well and I can't wait for my next appointment. She said that I can get better, that there is hope for me which i think is something that I needed to hear. If there is hope for me there is def. hope for all of us. :) She does want me to get the anxiety book by bourne which i'm planning on ordering from the healingwell bookstore. I've heard some good things about this book. Thanks again, you guys are the best.
