i have battled anxiety attacks for a few years now.  My latest i've had the sweating, hard beating heart, and lack of sleep.  Now I am experiencing a weird feeling on either side of my body.  Mostly the left side.  I have all feeling there and full movement of arms and legs.  I can raise my hands as high as possible, i can smile a full smile.  But, i just feel weird, like it's weak.  Is this anxiety or should i seek other help.  The past month i've struggled with depression and my anxiety.  I've been on lorazepam i think 1 mg, i do half in the morning, half at night.  when taken it does calm me and the feelings do go away, especially when i'm not htinking about it.  My problem is, i'm a thinker, i sit think too much about things until they happen.  I'll have an unusual feeling in my body and it'll get to my hand thinking something is wrong.  Does anyone else experience anything like this?  Advice please.

Hi Elkslayer :)

Welcome to HW and our Anxiety/Panic Forum. I have been through this and so have many members here. It is scary and hard to manage so I feel for you. I think your best course of action is to speak with your doctor about your symptoms and seek help on that level. And please to come on here to post for some great advice and peer support. We have some links under our Anxiety-Panic Resourses thread at the top of the forum page that are very helpful as well :)

Take care of yourself my friend!

I feel like you are describing on days when I haven't gotten more than 4 hrs of sleep. My whole body feels weak and I feel really out of it. Could that be it?

Hi Elk and Green;

I was actually RELIEVED to see you both having this symptom (Sorry to be relieved at your suffering)

I've been having the same dang thing, and for me it's a "NEW" symptom.

I've battle PAD for years, but overcame it several times, and at least for the moment, the remission is over :-(

So, it's back to Paxil - Ugh - as I dose back up on it -

This is a weird symptom - definitely scary - like my one leg won't work, or my arm won't work - or even like I won't be able to TYPE!

FREAKY! It comes and goes ... but I wish it would just GO!

:-)

battlethepanic,

Anytime you have anew and unusual sx such as you have described I would like to advise you to see your physician to make sure it is not caused by a medical condition.

Welcome to the forums.  We have a welcome thread for newbies if you would like to post a comment or to, or not.  We love to meet new members.

Kitt

Hi Kitt-

Thanks! :-)

I will have my doctor check it if it continues ... however, I'm a rather "famous" hypochondriac/anxiety patient of his, so I usually give it some time before I waltz in LOL - I'm sure you know what I mean.

My "symptoms" come and go - so far, I'm concerned, but rather confident it is the darn anxiety!

:-)
