Good Morning Family,

This will be the last Daily Roll Call so I am going to try to make it a reminder to stay in the moment and remember the good things that happen to each of us daily. :-)

Today's Question:

Do you  begin and end each day with gratitude?

Hey there,

I will even go first this morning, I need to learn to do this on a daily basis as I still get stuck "beating myself up" sometimes before I am even out of bed.

Practice spending  a few minutes thinking about the things that you are grateful for. Remember to include the things about yourself. You may be grateful for your sense of humor, your skill, talents and abilities. Allow that feeling of gratitude set the tone for your day.

I am grateful for a sense of humor, and even when I am really anxious if I can let out the tears the anxiety usually will wash away and then I can laugh at myself.

So know each and everyone of you has positive traits and celebrate the best in yourself.

Gentle Hugs

Kitt

I start each day grateful for many things, until I have too much work to do. . . Then I dream of work and wake up thinking of what needs to be done. But even then, I'll pray and take stock of all the good things around me and know that no matter how I'm feeling, it could always be worse.

Well, it varies from day to day... Sometimes, I can be very ungrateful.... but most of the time, I try to be thankful for the things that do go well in my life... for being alive... for being well... and for caring people in this world, without whom, I'd be having a hard time indeed....
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

I would really appreciate hearing from the members on how they validate themselves and acknowladge that they are good people with good things  happening in their life.

I am sorry Nikki,  I have had a huge break up with my sister's daughter and now they are not talking to me,  I am having great trouble moving on right now as I am down for the count and do not know how to get back up.

I have no other  extended blood family.  Only my hubby and children.  I also have only one friend so I am broken and not sure what to do.

I cannot continue daily roll call.

Today there is no response to the question............so there you have it.

I do make a concious effort of counting my blessings and putting myself in a positive frame of mind right before bed and first thing in the morning. I think it is a very simple and powerfull technique once learned and it has been working well for me. I have found if i wake with a negitive thought that i do not change, my day is effected and usually ends up with me just sitting on the couch doing nothing. Gill.x

Wow, Kitt.....sorry to hear about the things going on with you. We are all here for you.

Starting each day with gratitude.....that's kind of hard for me. I try to be thankful for things but as of lately it's kind of hard. I haven't had much luck with anything lately and it seems like everything is just backfiring in my face. It's one thing after another anymore. I'm not quite sure how to deal with everything. On good days though, I do try and think about the things that I have in my life. My kids keep me going mostly!!

Nice question choice. I'm also sorry that this is going to be that last Roll Call question. I do look forward to those everyday. Thank you so much for what you have been doing here for everyone and myself. Great big hugs for you, Kitt!!!!
