Well hello JNBB. Wow. First and foremost, I suggest getting a hold of your doctor and letting him know what you have found. He/She will then probably want to check you out. Other than that, I'm sorry that I don't have much advice for you. Hope you find out soon what is the matter.

Yes, don't be afraid to see your doctor about this, even though in my opinion your are probably fine. That is exactly what doctors are for, isn't it? It may just be an infection or swollen lymph node that's giving you the soreness on your right side.

One thing I've learned about myself is that I have a bad habit of finding things to worry about so that I don't have to deal with the real issues or the things I can actually do something about, but I've also learned to engage my brain with facts, which seems to help a lot. I looked up the diagnosed cases of cancer in the U.S. for 2008, which totals 24,600 cases. I believe our latest U.S. census shows that we have 400 million people in the U.S. So, your chances of actually having throat cancer is about .007% which is very, very low.

Your chances are much greater that you would get hurt from a soda machine falling over on you than from a shark attack, but we always hear about the shark stuff, don't we? =)

Take care, see your doctor, and please let us know!

He pushed them, and they flew...
