Good Morning Family   cool Today I am just singing in the  snow. smhair

Learning how to get rid of inferiority complex should start as early as possible. The older you get, the harder it might be to break the habit and break out of your shell.

Question of the day:

How do you get rid of an inferiority complex ?

I try to get rid of inferiority complex  by enjoying life. When I feel inferior I practice the self talk and tell myself that I am as good as the next person.  I also think of someone who has a a strong positive attitude and think of how they act.............

Learning to accept your not inferior is often hard to do but you can do it by learning to love yourself.

Hugs

G'Day Team A/P!!!

I also do tons of postive self talk when I'm feeling inferior. . . Plus finally I can actually look at the people that made me feel this way when I was young, and see them for the damaged people they really are, and that they are no more special than me to be able to keep that kind of hold on me. . . We are all just humans with many faults, and even manygood qualities. This is reality and I accept that now :)

And of course I do love myself now, with respect and caring :)

When I'm feeling inferior I always try to remind myself that everyone has strengths and weaknesses... I can't be good at everything. Then I try to remind myself of the things that I am good at and reaffirm the positive. Not always good at remembering the 2nd part.

OMG as soon as I saw the question I thought "oh no not high school again".  Back then my inferiority complex was just absolutely terrible.  Everyone was better than me and more popular.  All of them were.

These days, I've learned to like myself and accept who I am and I am no better or worse than anyone else.  We are each unique and special.  I don't look at others and think they are better than me.  This is truly one giant step from where I was even a year ago.  I'm not bragging that I'm better than everyone else.  Just not feeling inferior any longer.

I am alot like Maz...I pretend to be confident in situations and in front of people even though my insides are spinning around. I am able to fool most people into believing that I am outgoing and in control. I guess doing this helps me belive that I am nor inferior or superior and that is how I deal with my inferior complex when it arises. gillx

I use alot of positive self talk too, but I think the biggest thing for me is my faith and how it has changed the way I see myself.
