i took my medicine,,and traces of other medicines...just touch my tongue...when i suddenly felt fire in my cheeks...i cant move my hands...i cant breath...i am out of reality...am walking in the air...tingles all over my body..my pressure is down...cannot swallow...fast heart beats..i cant stand up...
and here started my misery trip from ER to ER...with no reply..from doctor to doctor..(inner ear infection...stomach acid affecting your heart beat)
finally after 15 days i lost my memory for one week...cant remember what i said onw minute ago...i cant swallow...out of reality...and i was descriped cepralex...lexotanil..xanax...and many other...
i refused to take any medicine coz am confused...and the side effects of those medicines are similar to my case...

Please continue to seek help in your medical community.

Welcome and sorry you are going through such a rough time right now. I'm not in the health field either, but could your anxiety be caused by post traumatic stress disorder? If you can't see a therapist to discuss this, maybe you could read a book about it or about panic disorder in general. I personally liked From Panic to Power by Lucinda Bassett. Also, I know that their are many book recommendations and website recommendations listed on this site. Sometimes reading about it can help you understand things better. I know it helped for me. It's nice to know you're not alone as well, and you're not! We all have some type of anxiety/panic issues on this site and we can relate. I have, thankfully, never been in close proximity to a war, but my car started on fire when I was driving it more than 20 years ago. To this day, if I smell something similiar to the burning electric smell from my car or I see smoke in my house I panic big time.

Yes, sounds like Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which is quite common having gone through a war! I'm not a doctor, either, but I think counseling would be good for you. Try to learn relaxation techniques. There are some on this website that will help you. Don't give up! Remember that we are here if you need us and please, get some help as soon as you can.....

Hi Rima,
I'm glad you found us here at HealingWell!  I am so sorry that you have to go through all of this my friend.  It sounds like you have nobody to talk to about these things, and I hope you stay here with us so we can help support you.  You will never be judged here, and you are not crazy.  If I had to go through all of this, I would be feeling like you do too.  I have a Lebanese friend named Jeannine, and she moved to California with her father, brothers & sister to get away from the war.  She is also suffering like you do.  I hope you get to feeling better and can find a place to live where you feel safe with your son.
Sam :)
