Sam, barefoot and gravel was probably NOT such a good idea.  I went out onto my concrete deck this afternoon when I got home from work (after changing into Summer clothes and getting the shoes and socks off) and the concrete almost burned my tender little footsies.  I have not gone barefoot since like last April (before my foot surgeries) so gonna have to take it easy this Summer.  I want to come to your farm and help you work outside.  I used to love to work on my old boyfriend's farm with him and his family.  Very rewarding work.  Makes you feel like you really accomplished something.

Lol :) I can't resist being barefoot when it is nice. . . Boy, today it sure changed around. Iit is so freezing here and I just am patiently waiting for some more warmth. If you come to the farm, we'll put you to work. . . We do the whole slave labor thing, where you have to take turns pulling the plow with Bessie and things like that. . . (just kidding:) I do agree about working the farm and feeling a good sense of accomplishment. It is very hard, but it is such a part of me I'm lost without it, lol.

You take care and it is nice to hear from you my fellow anxious Missourian :)

I have been fantasizing about leaving California, selling the house, and moving to a farm or just a modest home and lots of land. I need to slow down. The thought of it is calming. The weather is so beautiful here. The blossoms are out on the cherry trees. It's gorgeous.
