A very Early Good Morning to All,

Happy Saturday

Getting daily exercise may be the single most important thing you can do to improve your overall health. It even boosts chemicals in your brain, enhancing your memory.

Today's Question:

Are you active on a daily basis or Are you a weekend warrior?  rolleyes

No I am neither, sadly. I need to get my butt up and start taking the walks my husband and I use to. I remember we started at first just walking around the block, then eventually we were walking a couple of miles. But I had my knee scoped and other health issues hit, so I have not been as active as I would like. But spring is coming soon, so maybe we can start up again.

I've been trying to be active daily, but I only started a few weeks ago, so hopefully it will last after the newness of it wears off.  I really enjoy the wii fit, so maybe this time it will last longer than usual.  It's so much harder in the winter to keep moving, summer is no problem as I'm always outside doing yardwork, mowing, etc.

Hi All

I keep active on a daily basis and love all sports especially outdoor sports and find that when doing these it takes my minds of things. My problem is when I stop my GAD seems to take over again.

My job is quite strenuous, but other than that, I am a couch potato. Sometimes I'm my own worst enemy. I procrastinate terribly. You know that saying, "Don't put off tomorrow what you can do today?" Well, my motto is "Why do today what I can do tomorrow," lol!! I know how beneficial exercise would be, but I don't do it. Shame on me! I've got to start walking..... Blessings, Julie

Hey Julie that sounds just like me.  :-)    I do walk sometimes but I find it hard to get up when my anxiety is high and that's an important time to exercise I know.  I need someone to come over and drag me off my behind and get me motivated.

Now that the days are getting longer I'm getting more active, I felt better yesterday so I groomed 4 horses throughly and that is quite a workout. But mostly I'm just lazy and want to hibernate till winter is gone.

I keep putting it off until tomorrow.  I know I need to quit obessing about it and just do it.

I used t walk 3 miles everyday and then it just dwindle away.  I know I feel better when I get out and move.

Even getting out working my casual position makes me feel better so here I sit on a gloomy day in MN talking about why I don't.......OK........I will make a promise to myself to get to it.

Hugs to all of you.

I have no idea what a weekend warrior means.... And... my activities vary from day to day... //^_^\\'... It all depends on how much energy I have...
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

I sometimes exercise. Probably not as much as I should really but I try. I have some back issues and knee problems that I have to be careful with. I try to do some yoga when it doesn't hurt my knee or back too much. Other than that, it's pretty much just sitting around for me unless I'm doing housework.

I need to exercise. Before my health problems started, i got two hours
of exercise a day: walking, beach walking, climbing sand hills, aerobic
dance, kickboxing.
Then I started having back problems and had to stop. Gradually, I'm
going to start doing something. I swear.

I am busy all the time. I have built up so many projects and hobbies that I don't get bored easily. . . I actually have to force myself to slow down anymore to kick back for a good book or movie :)

The key is "sticking your fingers" into as many areas as you can that is facinating, but be sure not to make it a stressful situation, cause it is all in fun :)
Much Love, Hugs, Peace & Comfort . . . Your Bro :)
