Like many of you have health anxiety, I have work anxiety. Seems like I always expect the worst and even though many times things work themselves out, before that happens I suffer from chest pain, constant nagging worry, sweaty palms, cold sweats, diarrhea, and all the other symptoms we all know so well. Of course, things regularly happen on Fridays to put me in a constant state of angst all weekend.

I took my anti-anxiety med and went to sleep, sleep being about the only thing that offers any relief. Now I'm up and the anxiety is still here.

I am praying as hard as I can that this work issue will resolve itself. Will go to church tomorrow and do the same.

Hi Krista, I just wanted to let you know you aren't alone... I've been having those symptoms everyday lately.  Mornings seem to be the worst.  I'm fine when i'm asleep but when i wake up the symptoms wake up too!  It stinks doesn't it?  I will pray that things get better for you.  Church is a great idea.  I wish I could say more to comfort other than i have to believe it will get better for all of us.  Just have to think happy thoughts. :-)

HUGS

Thanks Mel

Yes, mornings are the worst for me as well.  Weekends are usually better unless something in particular has set off the anxiety on Friday.  Then I spend the weekend wanting to get back there and try to "fix" it.

My worst times have been mornings for years
Anticipatory anxiety I lived with for so long
Now I wake to a good start knowing I
CAN get thru another day and I have all the support and caring right here
Within the "family"

I hope you can get thru this ...........

Keep posting about it and that should help IMHO
