Hello I am new to the forums as well,
Thank you for your post, that kind of feeling is so common to me. You distract yourself with something happy but at the end of the day you are unable to get the worries out of your mind, at times it feels like a full time job just trying to keep the demons at bay. In any case I would suggest tackling any real problems head on, as soon as possible, within reason. Procrastination and not dealing with real problems always makes me anxiety worse, while acting responsibly and being productive seems to help. As for illogical problems that you can't fix, I would suggest trying to focus on the positive in your life and losing yourself in something the reminds you of the good in life. (I particularly like star-trek, or a good book for this)
