I've really been struggling lately with Crohn's and Anxiety, and our Healing Well board has been shaken up with the current events.....

So, I thought I would start a thread on positive thoughts/sayings that we use to help keep us motivated and on track!  We could all use a little "pick me up!" yeah

1.  Do not be anxious for tomorrow.  Tomorrow takes care of itself.

2.  Sorrow looks back, worry looks ahead, faith looks up.

3.  We may not be in control of our life's circumstances, but how we react is up to us.

Blessings to you all!  Julie :-)

Good idea!

1. You can't move forward if you are always looking in the rearview mirror.
2. Courage doesnt always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says....I'll try again tomorrow.

Hugs,

Hope this helps some of you. It's just a little thing that happened to me one day when I was feeling a bit down about how things were going in my life. I was, like many of us, feeling overwhelmed by change that was beyond my control, stressed out, and feeling a bit blue about it. So there I was, driving down the street, all wrapped up in turmoil, when I happened to notice a bumper sticker on a van in front of me. It said:

"The Universe is constantly changing
And Everything is as it should be"

I couldn't help but feel better after seeing that, and I remind myself of that every time I feel myself caught up in life's unexpected turns... =)

Hope it brings you some comfort as well!

Ross

From Ralph Waldo Emerson.....

"Finish every day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be combered with old nonsense. This day is all that is good and fair. It is too dear, with its hopes and invitations, to waste a moment of thought on the yesterdays."

"Breathe deep, seek peace." - From the book, Dinotopia.

Whenever I get really upset, I repeat this over and over again, like a mantra... It really helps me to calm down and relax....
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.
