For me it was learning that time keeps moving on and as you go through life accepting the changes and enjoying the challenges can be good.

We make our own happiness, so don't be afraid to try out new things.

Gentle Hugs

That life can be a little "too" real at times, and it can be a scary world. . . But you can't hide from it through anything that is effective, you just have to face life head on and do your best. That is all we can do as simple humans :)

That you dont need to be in a relationship to be whole. that i am worthy with or without a boyfriend. Not to settle for just anyone, but to wait for the RIGHT guy who treats me well. its been a messy and steep learning curve.

Great question Kitt,

Well, I was eighteen years old not very long ago.... But... a lot has changed....

In the beginning of my eighteenth year on this Earth, I didn't have Crohn's disease... now I do.... So, I've learned a lot...

You don't need chocolate to make you happy, for one... //^_^\\'
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

Good question, Kitt!

I’ve learned that sometimes we try too hard, and miss the simple pleasures in life.  I’ve learned that a smile and a kind word really can change someone’s day.  And I’ve learned that by giving to others, we are just as surely giving to ourselves.

Great question Kitt.  What Maz and Nanners said.  I've learned through many hard relationships to NOT compromise my values for any one.  I know what I want and what I deserve and will not settle for less.  But, if I hadn't gone thru all that I did, I wouldn't be where I am today and I wouldn't have learned the lessons I did.  I look back now on being 18-25 and engaged and the guy I was engaged to and what I endured (both emotionally and physically) and am blessed I made it thru with myself intact.  There were a lot of lessons learned.
