Gail, thank you so much for thinking of me. It means more than you'll ever know. I read everyone's posts every day, but just have been too sick/not enough energy to post or reply. I am still very ill. I have been having to go to the ER 3 times a week for IV fluids all day. The fevers are finally gone. I had to have an abdominal cat-scan with oral/IV contrast Friday. I am waiting for the results today. If everythng looks ok/no infection, I can receive Remicade tomorrow.

I am extremely weak, terrible body aches, intermittent diarrhea, extreme fatigue, anxiety attacks, no appetite, nausea, etc.

I hope you have a most blessed day, and thank you so much for thinking of me. I'm terribly nervous that I'll never get better. I feel scared.....

I know how being sick can really get you down. Try not to fret too much about the tests etc as all it will do is make the anxiety worse. Be sure to use your anti anxiety meds as needed to help keep that under control, and I think that will help alot. Hope they can get things figured out so that you can get feeling better. Will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Hugs

Hey Julie,

I sure hope you start getting better soon. After all the stress of illness, it is no wonder your nerves are flaring right now. Just try not to worry too much until you get better, and you will be okay. I just went through similar over a small illness, which just wiped my anxiety for a bit, but now I'm realizing I worried way to much which did not help my healing. But now I'm fine and so will you my friend.

Take care and many blessings!

Your Bro Sam :)

hi julie,

just wanted you to know that im thinking of you also! i'm very farmiliar with the fear of not getting better...but it sounds as though you are getting there! it's hard when you're anxious because we're usually conditioned to try and "live in the moment" but when "the moment" you're living in sucks it makes things complicated eh? i don't know if you're religious at all but when i was at my sickest my grandma came to visit, i was half asleep and when i woke up i heard her saying the end of a prayer, "let all that is not of God go". since then i've used that little phrase and repeated it over to myself in times when im feeling sick....it takes time but know that eventually it will all be okay.
keep getting better julie:)

:(... Sorry, you're feeling so bad, Julie... Try not to fall into that mindset that you'll never get better... You have to think to yourself that you will.. *Hugs* I know it's hard...
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.
