I will tell you that I have heard this medication will cause some nausea the first 3 days you take it, but after that I have heard it works really well. You just have to get past the first 3 days. Good luck!

I took Cymbalta for a week. Didn't have the nausea problem. I felt hyper and couldn't sit still.. I had an ever worse side effect. That I will not mention. As I was a rare case to have happen on such a short amount of time =)

I have heard great things about this med. My doctor was really hoping it would work for me.

I used Cymbata for at least a year as my Pdoc believed in it.  I started at 30 mg and was as high as 120 mg which was over medicating me...................in the end I was weaned off as I did not feel it was a big improvement.

Right now I am only on Buspar for anxiety and Trazodone for sleep. So far I feel better then I did on the SSNI.

I hope it works for you.

I didn't have luck with the Cymbalta and wound up only taking 1 pill and giving up. However if your doctor has recommended it you should definitely give it a shot. Everyone reacts differently to medication so it may work wonders for you. You just need to find the one that fits your chemistry best. Also I strongly suggest NOT reading all the warning signs and checking it out online, if you have medication anxiety it will really only make things worse. I have talked myself into every symptom on the list for medications that I've been taking for a while even though I never had a problem with them before and simply had to "check it out". Try really hard not to look at the warnings, it really just gives your anxiety more fuel. Good luck with the cymbalta!
