Hi...Your question is not ridiculous!   I have had tingling/numbness sensations on my face, scalp, lips etc since I was 20 years old and I am now 63.  I have been tested a gazillion times.  These symptoms are typical of anxiety but to ease your mind, please make an appointment with a doctor.  My sensations come and go according to the stress I am under.  I have never had them 24/7...but enough to become annoyed.

Hang in there and try to relax...also an enjoyable distraction helps me forget about them.

I get this too sometimes. I am weaning off Lexapro and have noticed it more of late. Have you seen your Doctor to make sure everything is ok? It helps to have a full medical work up so that you can be assured that you are dealing with anxiety issues. After that some CBT and relaxation exercises are helpful to calm the tingling/anxiety. Hang in there. You are not alone. You'll find tons of support on this board.

thank you guys. i have been to the doctor. last year i had an mri/brain and a battery of blood work. this week i am having another mri/brain - last year, everything checked out normal. i am nervous again because its been going on for over a year now....if it was MS would it happen this way or not? i think also if it was something worse.

Well, that's a good sign that you had these symptoms last year and everything checked out okay. I'm sure everything will be okay this time, too. Honestly, I can't remember if I've had the same feelings but others on here said they have. That should make you feel better!

Try some relaxatioin techniques and see if the tingling goes away while you're relaxed. Good luck and let us know how it goes!
