I haven't had anxiety this bad in a long time! I haven't got but like 4hrs of sleep each night. Which I know contributes to my anxiety. But it's like it wakes me up with some weird sensation & I can't get back to sleep. I'm tired of it! I had some heartburn/acid reflux & have the "feeling like I can't get a satisfied breathe, along with some hot flashes. So I'm convinced that I have pneumonia or worse - lung cancer. But all these things come & go, so logically in my head, I know my anxiety is causing this. I just haven't been able to break the cycle. I want to go to the Dr. so he can make sure I don't have pneumonia or lung cancer, but I'm also so afraid because I'm convincing myself that I have one of those two.

I hate that we all have a reason to be on these forums :(

I also forgot to mention that I made both my mom & husband stick their ear to my back & chest to listen to my breathing lol Both are working right now & I'm at my moms. My sisters are also at school. But my mom has 2 cats & 2 dogs here. So I've come over the past two mornings hoping that they'd kept me distracted. I wish someone could be here with me, but that never seems to help because I'm a dweller!

Hi there.

Dunno if this helps you or not, but I have been having very weird physical and mental symptoms... And it makes me panic even more, that something is really wrong with me. like bipolar, or schizophrenia or mania disease..... The physical symptoms are; buzzing head, ringing ears, tingling body, cold sweats (my body feels cold but I'm sweating), racing thoughts, can't think straight....

I have seen a few experts, and they all think it is anxiety.... So I'm just hoping that they are right.

Your mind can do all kinds of things to your body. Think about how you can use your brain to do physical things..... well, your sub conscious is just as strong too, and you can have very weird physical experiences... (as I have described)..

So.. try not to worry too much. Anxiety does have physical symptoms! Just do your best to relax, and neutralize stress as much as possible.

sleep helps too so if possible, try to get a good nights sleep!

wish you well.

Thanks dviflx. I just got up from a nap with my son & feel fine. Breathing fine, no heartburn feeling, etc. - Funny how anxiety works that way huh! I'm going to try to enjoy the "freedom" while I can lol

Keep in mind that both lung cancer and pneumonia are curable. The lung cancer must be detected early, but people do live through it. So, don't think the worst! See a doctor and get some relief. I wish I could be there with you....distract yourself by cleaning. Are you taking any medications for anxiety?

Thanks Aries. Since yesterday afternoon all my crazy symptoms went away! I just hate how anxiety works like this. It makes you so terrified that something is really, SERIOUSLY wrong!

No I'm not taking anything. BUT I finally did call my Dr. for something! I'm going to post about it.
