Does anyone else notice that your anxiety tends to peak at a certain time of day?  Currently late afternoon/early evening, just before dark seems to be my worst time.  I don't know if it has to do with blood sugar or change in lighting or possibly just something that happens now because I expect it to. The latter seems pretty likely.

Hi Roger,

For me, my anxiety tends to peak in the early morning because stress is accumulated during the day and as a result my anxiety level is very high in the evening and early morning. But some days I have severe anxiety throughout the day too of course. If I can't sleep well at night, I have anxiety all day and I can't really tell the difference when it is at its peak.

For me, midday is the least likely time, but all the other times of day seem to take turns equally.

Fot me it's usually between 5-7pm. I take my clonazepam dose at 7pm. If I haven't slept well yhe night before, I notice it first thing in the morning and it lasts until about lunch time.

Mine peaks mainly at night. During the day I am "OK" as long as I keep busy. But once its time to settle down mine kicks in.
Unless I'm under a high stress situation. Like leaving the house. But mornings are pretty good for me!

Hey, everyone. Mornings stink for me. First thing in the morning. I tend to nap a lot during the day and I come alive at night. I hope everyone has a really good day!

Anytime of day is game time for my anxiety. It just loves to hit me at all different times to keep things interesting I guess.
