Hi slz727
Can you put a finger on what is causing you to feel so anxious? Is it just anxiety about everything in your life or is there something in particular that you are worried about? Maybe we can help ease your concerns about whatever it is that's troubling you. You WILL get better.

Thank you for replying Roger,
I have mor anxity over everything in my life. Mostly going out in public and work. I know I stated that I am not at work right now but I know that I have to go back and it is worring me that everyone will know why I was off and my boss already dosen't like me. I also have had other things that have been going on in my life, like my husband is laid off, my brother just moved in with us because after 6months of marrage his wife filed for divorce. Just one thing after another. Sorry to ramble on but I am dealing with more than I think I can handle and I not only have Panic Disorder but I am Bipolar aswell. I am just over my limit of what I can handle I think. Any Suggestions?

Hi slz727, it sounds like you're in pain right now. Do you have medical help you can access? I'm off work too, I really can't go back yet, I can't imagine coping with it at this stage at all so I know what you mean. It's hard when people at work don't understand (or want to). You've got alot happening and I get the same feeling that I can't cope. I think about all the bad things that might happen and get overwhelmed when none of them are even happening to me at all. I think that's just the anxiety working overtime. It snowballs on itself if we let it. That's why I asked can you get some medical help? I've found that the quicker I get help and medication the quicker I recover. When I've left my anxiety flourish I get very depressed too and it just gets worse and worse. So keep coming here to talk and please get some help. good luck xx

Make sure you give medications enough time to work. That is very important!

I have no idea how the medications work when you've got panic disorder and you are bipolar. That must be difficult to deal with. I hope you'll stick with your doctor (preferably a psychiatrist). You will eventually feel better. There are many things you can do to help yourself. Read the other posts here and buy a book on panic disorder. Start helping yourself and stop all negative thinking. Good luck and let us know what medication ends up working.

Welcome to HealingWell.  I am wondering if you have visited our Bipolar Forum.  They have members with much knowledge in dealing with Bipolar and anxiety too.

Also are you in therapy now?

Medications for  Bipolar different from the ones used for Anxiety so hoping that you come up with a combination that works for you.

It sounds like you have a lot going on and this is sure to cause your anxiety to rise.  Remember to try to stay in the moment and only deal with one thing at a time.

You have my support.

Grizzly Pooh,

Thank you for your reply! I am glad that I am not the only one off of work! I do see a psychiatrist and a counsler. They are very understanding people and are trying there best to help me. I also know all about the sowball effect because about 2 weeks ago I wanted to just end it all. I got over that now but the thought of having to work with all that is going on is more than I can cope with and sometimes I wonder if I will ever be able to go back. I get sick to my stomac when ever I think about it. Being Bipolar as well makes my mind race so it is realy hard to think good thoughts. Please Let me know how you are coping to give me ideas as to how I can think about things in a new light. Thank You for your help that I am not alone.
