I'm 17 and I've been to 4 doctors and the ER. They keep telling me I have anxiety and panic from a chemical imbalance.
My arms, arm pits, chest, head, legs, stomach and tops of my hands hurt.
I also Have eye floaters :(
I'm convinced that it's something more serious and I'm so scared that all I do is cry all the time. I'm convinced I'm going to die.
Please tell me I'm not alone. This has all been happening for over a month.
I also come close to passing out some days. I can feel my heart speed up and then this feeling comes over me like I'm going to pass out.

PLEASE HELP ME D;

You are not alone. Most people with anxiety experience physical symptoms as well. Each body is different and reacts to stress in its own way. IF you saw several docors and they all said that you have a chemical imbalance, have any tried anything to correct this? Perhaps through medicaton? Have any of the doctors suggested you see a nuerologist to rule out other conditions? I suffer daily from "health anxiety" and I know how terrifying it can be to think you are dying or have an aweful, incurable disease. I live with this anxiety of this every day. You are young and the likelihood of having a serious disease is slim, in my opinion. That being said, don't give up trying to get answers from your doctor. If you have something that could be easily fixed withi medication, it will take away the symptoms that cause the anxiety and you can go on living the wonderful life you have ahead of you. Take care and keep us posted.

What you are describing is very common among anxiety/panic sufferers. If you had a seroius physical ailment, I can't imagine it being missed by 4 doctors and an ER. Panic attacks will make you feel like you are going to pass out, probably only because you keep telling yourself "I feel like I am going to pass out". Read a few articles on panic attacks and I bet you'll find they describe what you are feeling pretty acurately.
After that, it's important that you accept the fact that you have anxiety and not some mysterious illness. Focus on controlling your anxiety and learn different methods of making yourself calm.
You are not alone here. I've been to several doctors and a couple of ERs myself and each time been given the same diagnosis--anxiety. I too thought I was dying for sure. But I'm still kicking, and actually feeling much better. You'll get there, we're all here to help.

Hi this is Kitt and welcome.  If you have been to the ER and 4 different Doctors have told you your ok but have dx you with anxiety then I would think they may be right.

It feels to me like you most likely have Health Anxiety.

Health anxiety/health phobia refers to an excessive preoccupation or worry about having a serious illness. Often, health anxiety persists even after a physician has evaluated a person and reassured him/her that his/her concerns about symptoms do not have an underlying medical basis or, if there is a medical illness, the concerns are far in excess of what is appropriate for the level of disease. Many people suffering from this disorder focus on a particular symptom as the catalyst of their worrying, such as gastro-intestinal problems, palpitations, or muscle fatigue.

I would like to suggest that you consider seeing a therapist, someone that could help you deal with anxiety.

Take care and know that you can beat the anxiety with help.
