So every night i dream all night nonstop. Sometimes they're bad dreams, sometimes im doing what i did at work all night sometimes they're enjoyable in a way. Regardless i wake up every morning exhausted. I talked to my therapist about it and she kind of blew me off but im noticing the better i feel the less anxious i am. She believes my physical symptoms are caused by anxiety, i believe its the other way around. I really feel though if i could sleep better and not dream so much and wake up rested id feel so much better. Im pretty sure i dont want sleeping pills and taking a pm type pain killer just makes me groggy half the morning. Anyone else feel my pain or am i all alone?

Hey, yer I know what you mean...I've been dreaming alot lately, and I wake up in the mornings reaaaally tired - almost as if I've been in too deep a sleep. However I have been prescribed sleeping pills which help me to stay asleep (cos I was often waking up in the middle of the night and not being able to get back to sleep)but I seem to be staying asleep all night without these at the moment, its just the dreaming thats a pain!

Dreams or nightmares can be side effects of medications. Ask your local pharmacist if anything you are taking could cause these.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder
60 mg. Prozac, Ativan as needed.
