Hey friends,
Like many of you I have those darn palpitations. They come and go, well at least I don't always feel them all the time. I was doing good and wasn't getting them much often and then today I got a big one. Well it wasn't like the one it was more like two back to back. It was uncomfortable it didn't really hurt but it felt more uncomfortable that usuali maybe because of the way I was laying kinda twisted. Well anyway of course it sent me into a spiral of panic, fear, worry and irritation. I know I had all the tests done and was cleared for any serious issues but I can't help but still worry especially when they feel kinda different from time to time. Does anyone else experience this, should I be worried?
This too shall pass...

If all your tests came back ok it probably isn't serious. It is common to feel anxiety and depression when your are having palpitations. Take a deep breath and try to relax. This should pass. Good luck!

I've had palpatations on and off for about 19 years and nothing has ever come of them.  I know just how miserable it feels, and how it can so quickly send you into a panic, but if you had all the tests done that needed to be, and all was fine, try not to worry over it too much.  It's a normal occurance in almost all people, some notice it and others don't.  Unfortunately, we are among those that do feel them and let it bother us.  You hang in there and remember that  I've had them alot and sometimes they have been really bad, back to back to back ones at times, and nothing bad has ever happened to me.

Do you drink a lot of diet sodas or artificially sweetened drinks? I had those heart palps for a while and found that those may be a cause. They subsided as I changed my diet. Just a thought.

We've had many discussions about palpitations. As you become less afraid of them, they don't happen as much. If you do happen to have some long episodes, remind yourself that the tests were ok. That's what I tell myself. The "skipped beats" or "flutterings" are nothing more than a premature heart beat. Then your heart goes back to normal. I've noticed I can't lie on my left side and I can't have caffeine or a lot of sweets. Let us know how you're doing!

Aries is right on.............everyone has premature heartbeats and runs of SVT but these are harmless in the majority of people. If you have been checked out then I would just carry on as there is not much you can do besides worry and that will only make you feel worse.

Take care and big breaths.
