Hello everybody,
So I have an appointment tomorrow to see about this "off balance" vertigo like sensation I keep experiencing. Of course I'm expecting the worst and I'm trying not to think about it. I always get so nervous when I go to the drs. Even for annual check-ups and I especially hate when I have to wait a long while to be seen because the anticipation is terrible. Also I just got the number of two therapists who specialize in Anxiety and plan on calling them tomorrow to see if I can make an appointment because I am not happy with the therapists I've been seeing in the past. I hope this all works out.

Nelle

Good Morning Nelle,

I hope your appointment goes well and kudos to you for making that appointment.  Also please do look for a new therapist, one you can build a trust relationship with.

Thinking of you.

Gentle Hugs to you,
Kitt

I've had the "off balance" thing. I used to get it a lot many years ago. I didn't know what it was until a doctor said it was anxiety/stress. That's probably what they'll tell you at the doctor appt. Don't worry and practice some relaxation techniques. Your body is crying out for relief.

Well, the doc told me that he believes its my anxiety. He told me to start on the lexapro and use xanax as needed. I am so not looking forward to this. He also wants to send me for some blood work to check my cholesterol. I of course forgot to ask him why, but he's my familys doc so I trust him.

You'll do fine. I'm glad he gave you Xanax to take as needed while beginning the Lexapro. The Xanax will help. You reached out for help and it's coming. Stay positive and you'll get through this. Take care!
