Hey everyone hope all is well with everyone today! I'm scared myself i started the depakote this morning and stopped the buspar, wellbutrin, and my three dose daily of seroquel i'll start the seroquel big dose tonight. I'm horrified you guys I hate starting new medicines and stopping the ones that are supposed to be for anxiety although the dr said he thinks the buspar wasn't helping i'm just really nervous about all of this. As all of you probably know we with this disorder worry anyways without adding anything to it to worry about. So i'm very scared i'm trying to stay calm and realize there's an er right here in town if i need it but i'm still shaking. Any words of encouragment, support, reassurance would really help today. Thank You for listening April

First off Big Hugs!! Secondly, please do not go to the ER for this. If things get bad, please find an urgent appointment clinic instead. I just read an article yesterday that because so many people are using the ER for non emergency things, people that would normally be considered a true emergency are having to wait an average of 28 minutes for treatment. That 28 minutes could mean life or death. And I do not believe a panic attack or anxiety is a true emergency. JMHO

I know you are afraid of the new medicine, but if you don't try it you will never know if this will be the trick to help your a/p or not. Do you have any fast acting meds like Xanax, Klonopin or anything like that you might take in the meantime? I know its easier said than done, but please try to stop the what if thinking and kick the stinkin thinking to the curb.

Good luck,

Thank you for your response it's very much appreciated! I was only talking about the ER if I had a allergic reaction or bad reaction to the medicine.

Do you have any meds to help in the meantime? If not, could you maybe go for a walk and try to distract yourself, or watch a movie. Basically try to do something to change your thinking??? Good luck!
