Hi

I am not doing well...physically and mentally.
I had another panic attack yesterday and have been stressed out and losing sleep. I feel exhausted today. I tried taking some vitamins and eating well...but nothing is working. I'm just not doing well....:(

All I need is a hug, and some positive vibes.....Thank you!!

Lots of hugs and positive vibes to you.

When your fears have the best of you, it is easy to feel that things will not get any better. This is not true. There is much help available in today’s society and the best way to deal with your fears is to find effective ways to overcome them. Instead of focusing on doom, stay in the moment. Give yourself breathing space. Consider what matters to you. Establish a few manageable goals, then take small steps toward achieving them.

We are here for you.

Take care and I wish you peace,

I'm sorry that you're not feeling well.  Can you take anything to take the edge off? I am not a doctor, but when anxiety is "trying" to "attack" me, xanax comes to my rescue.

I agree with Jade75, when my anxiety starts to get the best of me, Xanax to the rescue everytime. Do you have any meds you can take to quiet things down? Good luck, I know you are having some financial problems right now with hubby out of work, hang in there sweetie, things will get better. Try not to lose hope. Will continue to keep you in my prayers.

Hugs

Thank you Blessed08, Kitt, lovefaith, Jades, Ben, and Nanners for your hugs and positive vibes!! I think they worked because I was able to get some sleep! Thank you so much. But I had to cancel a plan and I was really upset that I had to. I hate it when my panic and anxiety prevents me from doing things! :(

Nanners, I am not married....lol...but I am out of work and looking for a job! I will keep trying!

And Kitt, I will do as you said! I will work on my goals!

Thank you again everyone! I really appreciate your support!!!

Melodee

I am glad you got some rest and it is OK that you cancelled today's appointment but do try to reschedule it and remember by the end of the day your appointment will be behind you. :-)

Panic/anxiety attacks will leave you exhausted due to the outpouring of adrenalin. You can get through these attacks. You need to "float" and learn some relaxation techniques. I hope you are doing some sort of exercise and keep caffeine out of your diet. Positive thinking!!

Find a good therapist and keep a journal. You will feel better soon!!

Thank you Kitt, Maz and Aries!!!

Kitt, I like that quote, "if one door opens to another door closed, I hope you keep on walkin' till you find the window" :)

Maz, thanks for the bucket loads of positivity!!

Aries, yes, I know a few relaxation techniques and I have a good diet, no caffeine, no alcohol, no artificial preservatives. :) And I take vitamin C, Bs, E, Cal-Mag, Iron, etc. When I am stressed and can't sleep I have bad panic attacks. I haven't been exercising much...due to my back pain. But I am planning to do some sort of exercise to stay positive!!

Thanks again!!

You said you have bad panic attacks when you're stressed and can't sleep. What do you tell yourself as you lie there and can't fall asleep? Not sleeping is annoying, makes us cranky and can lead to health issues. But, eventually you'll sleep. Tell yourself it's not a big deal. "If I can't sleep right now, I will later."

When you are stressed, figure out what can be changed or eliminated. Get rid of things that aren't necessary in your life. Make your life less complicated (if possible).
