Just an update on the concert. Our seats were in the first row behind the mosh pit. Willie sang pretty much unplugged so I didn't need to put on my fetching monster head phones. Mellencamp was so loud the bass actually sloshed our drinks out of our cups....on went the head phones and my friends took pictures of me on their cell phones and texted them to their kids. I excpect to see them on You tube today as it looked like I had a pin head stuffed around the stupid things.
Bob Dylan should hang up his white hat and black shirt and take a nice long nap somewhere. He was unintelligible and it was painful to even watch. People started booing and screaming for a refund. BTW, during Mellencamp we moved to the top row of the arena because one of my friends thought the noise had ruptured his ear drum...he eventually went to the car. The walk up about a bazillion steep steps was murder on the fibro and I am paying for that today...but my anxiety??? None. Zero. We left after the fourth so called song from Dylan as did half the stadium.
And my head phones? I had an offer for fifty dollars for them. Ha! Now who's so funny looking I am texted across the country!
I had a good time and the ole anxiety behaved itself. I am thankful!
