Just an update on the concert.  Our seats were in the first row behind the mosh pit.  Willie sang pretty much unplugged so I didn't need to put on my fetching monster head phones.  Mellencamp was so loud the bass actually sloshed our drinks out of our cups....on went the head phones and my friends took pictures of me on their cell phones and texted them to their kids.  I excpect to see them on You tube today as it looked like I had a pin head stuffed around the stupid things.

Bob Dylan should hang up his white hat and black shirt and take a nice long nap somewhere.  He was unintelligible and it was painful to even watch.  People started booing and screaming for a refund.  BTW, during Mellencamp we moved to the top row of the arena because one of my friends thought the noise had ruptured his ear drum...he eventually went to the car.  The walk up about a bazillion steep steps was murder on the fibro and I am paying for that today...but my anxiety???  None.  Zero.  We left after the fourth so called song from Dylan as did half the stadium.

And my head phones?  I had an offer for fifty dollars for them.  Ha!  Now who's so funny looking I am texted across the country!

I had a good time and the ole anxiety behaved itself.  I am thankful!

Dear Donna,

Bob Dylan is one of our Minnesota Home Grown........ smhair Born May 24,1941, Duluth, Minnesota,   Bob Dylan is 68 years old.

I went to a Bruce Springsteen Concert recently and I guess I forgot to remember that rock stars age too.  Also he played very few of my favorites, it was very loud and I could not understand the words and everyone in the band was over 55 except for one. Bruce Springsteen is 59.

I got sucker punched to the tune of $750.00 for 3 seats.......and I have just chalked it up to "Oh Well"

I did love being with my daughter and granddaughter so I did have a good time.

Hugs to you for sticking in there and not walking out.

Kitt

Kitt...I feel badly for my hubby because he used to play with Dylan and Garcia YEARS ago in those basket houses in The Village. He paid for part of his college degree playing at night.  I can't tell you how disppointed he was to see this poor man struggle to get a word out.  He even named our dog Dylan, after his old jam buddy.

It is what it is, and it's sad.  Can I interest anyone in Donovan concert tickets...LOL!

Huggies

Donna

You might have better luck with tickets to the Jonas Brothers, LOL.

Trivia: My granddaughter's God Mother lives in Texas and the Jonas Brother's just built a home down the street from her. She is not real happy but I am sure my Granddaughter will be in a few years.............she is only 5 right now.

Donna,

Congratulations to you for handling the concert so well - I'm proud of you! It's great that you went, too, because now you have all these fantastic stories to share - that's just so marvellous that you didn't let anxiety keep you down.

Standing ovation for you (but not Dylan),
percycat
