For over a year I've been sick. It started with dizziness, then more symptoms came. Tingling arms. Fevers (low grade). Vision problems. Horrible IBS. Weak and tired. Then came my blood sugar problems. I kept getting so weak and the hypoglycemia test showed my 1/2 hour and 1 hour results were SO low. By five hours I was in the 60s, but it was those first two that were really off. Eating is hell. My blood sugar goes crazy no matter how perfectly I eat. My heart beats very fast and went into SVT once.
I've had a crotisol test, thyroid checked, chest Xray. Been in the Er several times. Once for passing out for unknown reason. I've also lost 30 lbs in one year.

All the doctors can tell me is it is anxiety. but I don't feel anxious. I mean, I don't feel any more anxious than I have previously.
I started Xanax and it hasn't fixed the physical symptoms. It only makes me more tired.

An alternative doctor ran a test and said I have Lyme, but the traditional doctors say that is a joke.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone has not felt like they have anxiety but have the physical symptoms. Thanks.

Hello Chrismommy,

Welcome to HealingWell and the A & P Forum.  Because diabetes is one of the diseases that affects the endocrine system I am wondering if you have seen  an endocrinologist?

It feels to me like your anxiety may be caused by all your physical sx and that you need futher medical evaluation.

The mystery of having these strange anxiety atttacks coming from nowhere may sometimes be explained by a sudden secretion of adrenaline into the blood stream.

We also have a great forum on Diabetes which you may want to read and perhaps post in that forum also.

And speaking of Lyme's we have a great forum for that too.  Please do read through the  forums here at HW.

Gentle Hugs to you,

Kitt

Thank you very much.
I have seen 3 endos, who all just told me I was crazy.
The mose recent one I saw seems more concerned and is thinking of running the 72-hour glucose-insulin test.
I will check out those other forums. Thank you.

I have Lyme disease and severe anxiety! Actually I believe anxiety is a big symptom of a co-infection called Bartonella. You should check out the Lyme forum on here.

Yes, I have had the symptoms of anxiety and I didn't feel anxious. Anything is possible with our nerves. I would suggest eating properly. Obviously that means no caffeine, sugar or fast food. Make sure you're drinking plenty of water.

You may also be watching your body too much. Try to keep your mind busy with a hobby, work or chores. It's very common for us to constantly monitor our bodies. We check our pulse, look for a diagnosis for a sharp pain. It can be tiring and time consuming.

Stay on this website for answers. Let us know how you're feeling. Find some calm, fun way of keeping yourself busy.
