Okay I know this is really strange but this morning around 4 I woke up from a sound sleep from what i thought was hunger pains. well got out of bed at 6 to go to work drank high protein shake. Couple hrs later a huge bowl of eggs and cheese and picked all day. Now I have eaten 2 bowls of pasta and still have those hunger pains. I am calling them that because thats what they feel like but no matter how much I have eaten they are not going away. I am also very burby for lack of a better word. It is a very strange feeling to have and dont understand because I have eaten and ALOT more than I normally would and  the feeling is not going away. Any suggestions? I did warn you in the beginning it was strange lol. Unfortuneately I am thinking in my panicky mind it is somehow sigh for impending heart attack...Help!!!

Hi Boja,

Sounds like a little bit of an upset tummy. I get that feeling when my acid levels are off in my stomach. Rolaids sometimes helps. But not always. What kept it going throughout the day was the grease food you ate.
High fat foods, along with stress can cause this. And eating the wrong types of food just keep it going. A soda can make it even worse.

It should settle in a 24 hour time frame. If it continues contact your doctor and see what he has to say.

I'm a soda holic. I have to have my diet cokes. So I deal with this very often. And it is getting worse. about to go visit my doctor as well. I think I need a stronger antacid.
A heathy diet reduced in acidic type foods does (from what I have read) helps reduce the acid influx in the tummy. This includes limited on some veggies.

But again speak to your doctor if it continues. Normally from this point you will start noticing a feeling like there is a bubble in your stomach, and then a bubble in your throat. Very annoying and can be painful as well. Nip it before it gets out of hand!!
Btw its not a heart attack just to much acid in the tummy.

Take Care

ps: some people also get these "hungry" pains when they actually are dehydrated.

Hope you are feeling better! Sorry, I know nothing about recurring hunger pains but you got some good advice!

Cary-Ann and I share the shame love - Diet Coke.  I will sometimes have heartburn and try feeding that but I suspect you have a bit of anxiety that is causing some sort of stomach upset.

I agree, if it continues do check in with your physician.

Take care and bless you.
