I got up this morning and it was bright and sunny...not a cloud in the sky.  I was drinking my tea and watching the news and all of a sudden the room started to get darker and darker.  I have some problems with my eyes at the moment...blurriness from Lexapro, high glaucoma readings and a cataract.  So...I sat there and thought....THIS is it...I finally going blind! My heart started to bang out of my chest and I started to think about all the things I couldn't do without my sight. Then I heard the thunder and the electricity flickered on and off.  In a microsecond, a horrible storm passed through.  It got so dark the street lights went on.
I haven't had a reaction like that to something so obvious in such a long time it made me mad.  But then I just laughed at myself and ate two donuts.
