Does anyone get head/face pressure due to their anxiety/stress? How does it make you feel if you do get this?

I get pressure in my head/face. But it is not from anxiety. Instead it is allergies. My sinus do not drain as they should. So I have to take Zyrtec to relieve the pressure.

I will get an occasional headache that is stress related but face pressure - no.  I will get terrible shoulder pain from stress.

Take care and I hope you have something to help with the headaches and pressure.

Yes, I get a strange pressure in my head sometimes. It's not all that bad really, just seems like a tightening of the muscles. For me it's basically the same as all the other symptoms, I'll notice it and then as soon as I stop dwelling on it and letting it bother me it drifts out of focus and becomes relaxed again.

The face pressure to me sounds more like allergies or sinus problems. When I am stressed my neck and shoulders will tense up and sometimes cause a headache. I hope that helps some.

I think my medicine is causing some headaches and the more I think about the tightness, the more I have it. When Idont think about it it is gone. I think it is stress related and I may be bringing it on myself. I am trying not to think of it so much and I am also going to come off my bisoprolol fumarate medicine to see if the headaches go away. Thanks everyone

I live in a constant state of facial pressure, i know where you are coming from. For me, i have a long and unpleasant history with chronic sinus issues. Ive had surgery to correct the problems, however it did not work. Have you discussed this with a doctor? you may be suffering from congestion, which blocks your sinuses and prevents them from draining, leaving your face feeling like its going off like a pressure cooker. I would see a doctor and rule out any allergies or sinus activity.

Hang in there,
