iam always worried and anxious

till school was fine.in college started.did not want to go to college
afraid to go would be more proper.always sweating.was afraid of the opposite sex.afraid that any proffesor would call my name.
shivered when talking to girls and public speaking.gradually became an introvert.did not hang out much with frnds
took pills for depression.missed many classes.at one point i thought i would not graduate
the 4 years of college i dreaded
have few friends with whom i can be relaxed and jolly

somehow graduated got a good job but all this followed
became worried every moment .would skip lunch.
many a time had eaten in restroom with doors locked.was becoming more more depressed.would not go to parties or outings Ultimateli i left job

got second job .constant worry for small things.stammer while talking.hide in places to escape work.always feel like making noises when tensed.like shouting or making a quick action or turning head fast i left that job too

in short whenever i step outside the place where i live i become weird and feel like iam good for nothing and always worry

i used to pray in washrooms with a rosary at the time in college whenever there was a function, to escape it.

i rarely go to functions which r happy but i go whenever there is a death becoz i need not be jovial and talk to anyone

in short iam becoming a moron in the family and in the outside world

Welcome to HealingWell and the A & P Forum.  I am sorry to hear you are having so many issues.  May I ask if you have every had any therapy?  I have learned to deal with my anxiety through therapy and I do take some medications.

You need to find a good therapist. Hopefully, you have medical insurance. Either way, you should explore this website more. There are books and techniques to help you through your anxiety. Go easier on yourself! You are worth being happy and you deserve to feel good about yourself.

Ok, so, u don't want to take any therapy.. Then try this -

In my opinion A natural remedy for anxiety is to breathe slowly and deeply, holding one’s breath for five to ten seconds and then exhaling slowly. By concentrating on the sound and feel of one’s breath, ... the racing thoughts and worries will be placed more in the back of the mind than as the dominant thoughts.

It can be like training a puppy because the anxious thoughts want to return, but you keep returning to the breath and staying centered. Another natural remedy for anxiety is to think about how what one person finds scary another person may not. Keeping this in mind helps to show that the reactions can be very much related to habits of thinking and one’s fears from the past.

Some people find a walk in the woods, trip to the beach or golf game to be a natural remedy for anxiety so it’s helpful to think about what will calm your nerves and create an inner harmony to design an activity or place to help change your mood.
