Good evening all, just had a bad nightmare, ever have that all when you wake up from like only an hour nap and you feel like your whole day revolved around that horrific dream?...

Well I said about a week ago I was going to try to go off Vicodin, and I did more research, and realized I had to wean off of it, because I wanted to take my life back, despite anxiety and more bad dreams, it's day 6 of only taking two 7.5 grams of it a day instead of three. No slip ups, yet... man, not been easy, but it should be sort of, it's not like it's a huge drop... only one pill missed per day... just sayin'.

Just wanted to send good wishes in wean down from the Vicodin. Just remember to take it slowly and all should go well.

Good luck!

I weaned off Vicodin once and it was not easy so I am sending your good vibes.  The trick is to go slow..........  once you are off the medication you will feel very good and proud of yourself.

I wish you luck with the weaning process.

Take care,

Kitt

First of all, congrats on coming off the pain killer! I know it's not easy. Secondly, I'm hoping you've discussed this with a doctor or pharmacist so you wean off of the med safely. Hang in there! The nightmare might be from coming off the drug, but I'm not sure. Just a thought.

Good luck Paulos!- we know you can do it. stay strong and if you need to, dont hesitate to call your doctor. i had to wean myself off certain pain substances (not vicodin, we dont have it over here) but other stuff that was controlling my life. i feel a million times better for kicking the substance abuse and you will too!! Hang in there mate.
