Hello guys,

I do experience frequently nausea and vomiting almost everyday when i get anxious.
When i have problems in my life the first symptoms that come is nausea and vomiting.
Is stays till i get calm. This year i had very dramatic changes in my life since february and i am experiencing nausea and vomiting for 6 months already.

This caused me gastritis.

So I do stand that nausea and vomiting are anxiety related and especially for those with stomach problems.

I hope that God helps me to get out of this symptoms.

Thanks i took Nexium for a while but had so many side effects...Also took motilium (domperidone) for the nausea also.
But i had horrible side effects:
-rash
-headaches
-muscle pain
-insomnia
-burning skin
-skin got very sensitive to light, bites, etc

But it did help my gastritis because i am not feeling as bad as i used to be.
But the nausea and vomiting came after finishin treatment.
I do notice that a i get it in the mornings and as the day passes i get better.
If i vomit in the morning the nausea subsides.
Strange... But thats what anxiety do to us.

I am the same when my anxiety kicks in I immediately get nauseous and have diarrhea. I also have a inflammatory bowel disease and that gives me alot of nausea too, but it gets even worse when I am anxious. Have you tried Zofran for your nausea? It works great for me without the drowsiness. Good luck!

I take Stemetil for my nausea which is a result of both anxiety, and long term sinus/inner ear issues. However when its super bad, Im with Nanners, Zofran is very strong and effective. You need to get to the root cause of why you are actually vomiting. Of course its part of anxiety, but with the right tools, you could learn to NOT actually vomit. I always used to vomit but as I got more and more used to this illness, I found through a combo of meds and therapy that I have the keys to controlling at least some of the side effects.

All the best, you are not alone-

Thanks guys,
I am trying to control it, and I try not to throw up. So i stay in the gagging phase.
For example today i didnt have nausea nor vomiting maybe because im in bed sleeping all day as i am with a flu. Hope its not swine flu...
I dont know if i can get those pills here in south africa but ill try to speak to my doctor about it.
Can sinusitis give u nausea? Is it possible? Because i suffer from sinus and asthma since 2 years old and now am 27.
Well thanks for the support

Absolutely! this is where most of my nausea comes from! Blocked sinuses create pressure in the middle ear which in turn, make you dizzy and nauseated. One of my biggest symptoms. Ive had extensive sinus surgery to correct my problems and its failed, so im having more done early next year, and im hoping some of the nausea will stay away for good.
All the best, i know its awful-

I get nauseated too when I have a severe panic attack! My heart races too. But I have over time stopped throwing up. I have learned a few coping techniques that help with that threw CBT. Look into CBT. Its a real life saver!

Hope your surgery DOES make your sinuses better Maz! I wish you all the luck in the world when you go to have it!

hi onthelow and others, I am sorry to hear about these issues that you and others have with nausea and vomiting, I do not have these issues so I am thankfull to GOD, but I am really sad to hear what you guys are going through. I cannot imagine what it would be like to vomit on a daily basis, It does happen to me maybe once a year or maybe less, and it is a painfull experience, unless it was a light one. in your case onthelow you should consider maz's advice perhaps on the sinus surgery, yea as everyone knows surgery is not flawless but there is always a chance so I guess it's a good idea to try that. I hope you and others get better in the future... you are in my prayers..
