I missed you guys. I havent logged on in a while and I see some new names I cant really say thats a good thing because I always say I wouldnt wish this anxiety thing on my worse enemy and I hate to see another person become a sufferer but welcome to our new friends anyway. I hope everyone has been well. I have been having some success with my CBT sessions. I was able to go to the mall with the kids by myself and I even got on the subway train. That was a big step for me. I can honestly say that this CBT is not going to be easy but its worth it. I really thought that I wouldnt even be able to make it this far. I thought the only way to escape this h**l called anxiety was to take medication. I am in no way saying meds are bad because I keep my Xanax with me, I just wanted to overcome this without meds. So for anyone who is thinking that they cant get through this trust me, if I can so can you. I know it may take some time and I know that I will not be totally free from panic and anxiety but at least I will be able to manage it.

Crohn's Disease for over 33 years. Currently on Asacol, Prilosec, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain, Zofran, Phenergan, Probiotics, Calcium  w/Vit D, and Xanax as needed. Resections in 2002 and 2005. Also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, Osteoarthritis, and Anxiety. Currently my Crohns is in remission, but my joints are going crazy!

Hello and it is so good to hear from you.  You are making some huge strides forward. I am very proud of you.  CBT does take work but you are up to it and I can see from your post you are learning new tools to help you deal with your anxiety.
