Ok, so usually my anxiety usually consists of increased heart rate, sweaty palms, and the whole fight or flight syndrome.....
Last few months, symptoms have stimmed from my headaches of course but yesterday I had a really busy day at work, driving to clinics and a luncheon, staff mtg, etc....When I got home, picked up my daughter and had several errands to run; got home again and had to go with my husband to pick up a part for his vehicle....while waiting for him to return to the car, I felt the sweaty palms and feet again, had a small "head pain, dull" and then I felt this "out of balance" feeling...kinda like a tingling throughout my body and a bit of trembling sensation and type of slight burning sensation at my mouth...it made my mind say "whoa, I feel a little off balance" and just felt hyped up and wanted to leave.  Does this sound familar to anyone??  Its hard to describe the feeling I had, just that it made me feel out of control of my head as I yanked the seat belt off and took some deep breaths.  Then my husband returned and we were on our way home.  Of course, I obsessed about whether or not I was feeling anxiety and if it was going to get worse the entire way home.  Once home, I finally ate dinner and felt more "together" before going to bed.?????????????????

Good Morning :-)

It does sound like anxiety to me and if it went away with some breathing exercises that is good.  Try  not get caught up in the anticipatoy anxiety and trying to analyze this one episode.  Remember that anxiety has many different faces.

Here is the link to the many anxiety sx and remember it is not all inclusive.

http://www.anxietycentre.com/anxiety-symptoms.shtml

If you should have more sx that bother you I would suggest you talk with your physician and see what he feels may help you if you are on meds.

Remember sometimes we get stressed out when everything happens all at once. It does sound like you had a very busy day so take some time to relax.  Plan it in to each day.

Gentle Hugs

Kitt

Anxiety does effect everyone differently, sometimes worse than others. I had an experience like that standing in line at Walmart with a cart full of groceries!  What you described sounded like a very busy day.  My overly busy days were always my worse.  When I finally put the brakes on my schedule and how I used my time, learning to say no except what was really important or necessary, I started feeling better.  Along with finding the right med for me, I do not have the attacks anymore.  I hope you are feeling better today.  We all have to find our own way to deal with anxiety.

Thanks again!
Gem- thanks, I've had those days where I was in line at teh grocery and had to leave them to run to the bathroom.  When I returned there were 2 firemen & EMS person who waited for me to return and see if I was alright!  They took my bp & made me sit down while they loaded my groceries to the car for me!  I had already called my mom to come get me and she pulled up and was a bit scared at first!  Then started laughing because she knew I was having one of "my days" but had several goodlooking men helping me :)

Anyway, I do feel much better today and have all weekend :)
I've had many more busy days than not lately so I have decided to sit back, evaluate, & regroup my priorities.
Thanks again to all!

OK, I will join the I hate to be in line a Walmart group. Drive me up the wall, I hate standing there feeling anxious and trying to remember to take a deep breath and relax, I will make it through the line.

Anxiety know no limits and will hit you broadside so arm yourself with many tools my friends.

We're going to be famous!  We've discovered Wally World Syndrome.  I have also several times walked into the store and picked out my shopping cart.  As I procede into the store I have to hold onto the cart as I begin feeling very faint.  This is true and I'm not making it up.  This is accompanied by the short line syndrome:  If you get into the shortest line, it will immediately stop moving.  Try it if you don't believe it.

I am glad to hear that I am not the only who has experienced Wally World Syndrome.  If I go early on Saturday when it is not crowd and I am not feeling rushed I am OK.  But I cannot even get close to the place on Friday after work.  How funny is that?
