Im driving down the M1 to Nottingham, on my own, no one to hold my hand if anything goes wrong! Never driven further than town before alone ahah..

This was part of my CBT, getting out of my comfort zone. I must admit I did have 2 minor panic attacks in the night, but maybe thats due to excitement....meeting Most Haunted  skull smilewinkgrin

So this will be a really BIG major test of my nerves!

Dear AG,

You can do this and remember you have come so far and are doing well.  Just stay in the moment and kick the anxiety to the curb.  Do not let yourself fall into anticipatory anxiety.

I am right here cheering you on so please do be kind to yourself.

Hugs

Hey,

I remember the first time I drove out of town myself and was so surprised at how well I did, and have kept doing for over a year now. You will do great and have a wonderful trip :) I wish you luck and please post back to let us know my friend!

Peace,
Sam :)

Good luck! When I have to travel and drive I take either audiobooks to listen to on my car stereo cd player, or relaxing music and I find it distracts me from feeling anxious. Same as listening to talk back radio and listening to people call in.

You can totally do this!!
