Dear Kay,
I am sorry if your boyfriend has been having problems and you are worried about him.  We are here as a peer support group to help people with anxiety which would be yourself.
It is beyond the realm of this forum to identify ways to track down missing boyfriends who have voluntarily left to move on to another state from where you live. I am sorry but that is not our purpose in this forum.
I would like to suggest that you move on with your daily activities and when he is ready he will contact you.  Your anxiety seems to be tied to this man who has some serious medical and perhaps legal issues. Remember you cannot control other people only yourself and your own actions and feelings.
You may find that seeking counseling for yourself in learning how to deal with your feelings would be of great benefit to you.
I am sorry you are going through a rough time as I have been in your place at one time in my life.  I do understand the anxiety you feel.  Please take care of you.

Wishing you the best,
