Good Morning and Welcome,

You may have situational anxiety re worries about your health which may go away once you have your tests and dx.  Many people have anxiety throughout their lives but learn to deal with it quite well.

Here is a link that you may find helpful re anxiety sx.

Well when I first developed anxiety I considered it to be acute anxiety. But thru therapy and the occasional Xanax I am now able better to handle it. Take the Xanax it will help to quiet things down. Not all medications work for all, so if you find the Xanax doesn't work well for you, there are always other meds to try. But I personally have had great success with Xanax. Good luck!

I think once you get the anxiety under control the shortness of breath feelings will improve. You need to get the anxiety under control first and I really think the Xanax will help there.
