Don't know where to post this...involves a nerve going from mouth/neck area to chest, on left side.

It's a very weird, sort of tingly, intense feeling I've gotten sometimes when being worked on at the dentist, not often. Well, it happened at home when I was eating something--it's so intense I couldn't stand it. It feels like a nerve, like I stimulated something, but I don't know how or what is is. Does anyone who maybe knows anatomy know what the hell this is?

Good Morning,

The left vagus nerve would most likely be the nerve that you are looking at but I am not a physician so please do consult your PCP if this becomes a problem for you and not just anxiety provoking.

Remember those of us with anxiety can find many reasons to overthink what may be just a simple fluke. If this is the first time it has happened other then at the dentist I would try not to let it take over and kick you into stinkin thinkin but practice staying in the moment.
