can the symptoms of anxiety effect the body, even when anxiety doesn't seem to be effecting the body, say your having a good day, can anxiety symptoms appear?

For me it does. Sometimes I'll be perfectly okay, then I'll realize that I'm doing fine and be glad! But then I remember that I had forgotten I had anxiety and it creeps its little head in. Also when I experience anxiety I feel very sleepy and sore. Also when the anxiety actually does kick in lots of times my knees and body feel very weak and I start to shake and my body is tingly. But as far as in the long run I don't know if there are effects to your body. For me sometimes I do feel some of the same feelings I have while I'm anxious when I'm not anxious. Main thing is I have to realize that the symptoms are probably from poor sleep or lack of exercise or can be anything, and to not confuse them with anxiety.

I dunno if I accurately answered your question but I tried lol!!

Yes, you can think your feeling just fine and then whammy, the anxiety creeps in.  Just remember you have anxiety it does not have you and you can control your feelings.

Depends on the sx you are having. You may have chronic sx that are real but the underlying cause may be anxiety and then you may have sx that are acute and stike out of the blue.

For instance, neck pain and tightness between the shoulders may be something you suffer daily and would be chronic as you feel stressed and you may hold your neck and shoulders in a position that causes pain.

Or you may feel fine and suddenly you feel breathless as something has triggered your anxiety and you are frightened. This would be an acute attack.

Hope this helps and I am sure other members can share some of their situations.

Take care,

Kitt
