Too much stress over long periods of time can impede brain function in a major way. Anxiety is really only high levels of stress over a long period of time sustained by bad thoughts. Lower the anxiety and it may help with your memory loss problem.
There are also many physical reasons for memory loss so please do seek out the advice of your physician.
