Good Morning and welcome to HealingWell and the A & P Forum.
Support groups are a place for people to give and receive both emotional and practical support as well as to exchange information. People with health conditions, as well as their friends and families find support groups to be a valuable resource and get confirmation that their feelings are "normal", educate others, or just let off steam. IMHO joining a support group is joining a family.

You have anxiety and that is a whole dx of it's own and comes with many different issues. Please do know you have chosen the right place to come and to talk about your anxiety.

You may want to review this link as it will help you understand a bit more about the sx of anxiety.

Again a warm welcome to the A & P Family so do feel comfortable in talking with us.

Hugs,
Kitt

A long time ago when I was looking for a therapist I did find one who offered on-line sessions. It was relatively cheap. I am not Canadian but have heard that they do cover that sort of thing, though. Try to follow Lyn's advice.
