Been looking around online and probably not making things better trying to self diagnose, although the meds my doctor has me on do seem to be calming down my racing thoughts a little more lately.  But, was wondering if there is such a thing as Depression Mania?  I've read up on Bi-Polar Mania but I don't really feel some of those symptoms of invincibility although I am restless, can't sleep, and am full of energy sometimes, other times completely exhausted but can't sleep.  Also can depression affect a persons voice as well?  Noticed my voice has gotten a little deeper last few weeks.

Depression that is known as "Major Depressive Disorder" does not have a mania component attached to it to the best of my knowledge..........however some of the medications for depression can cause you to feel a bit manic.

Others may have more info.

Take care,
